Tongli
Tourism and Holiday Park is located at Tongli,
which is a beautiful and quiet Jiangnan water
village ancient town and gains its fame at home
and abroad for its unique characteristics: water
scenics of “small bridge, flowing water, and
household”, a birth place of famous historical
and important persons, a place of aboundant
cultural relics and histroric sites. Tpngli
Town is one of the national key cultural relics
protection unit. Tongli Tuisi Garden is listed
in the 《World Cultural Heritage Catalogue》by
UNESCO. In 2001, there are altogether 80 thousand
visitors from home and abroad with a total tourism
income of 200 million RMB yuan. |

Tongli Science and Technology Industrial Park
is situated at the west of Tongli, with a total
planned area of 1.8 square kilometers and divided
into two sections of electronics industrial
park and module processing park. Up to now 10
foreign invested enterprises have been setttled
in the park with a total investment amount of
80 million US dollar. The enterprises here mainly
produce monitor templet, monitor back light
and other kinds of templets. Tongli Tourism
and Holiday Park warmly welcome friendly guests
